Crafty Monkeys challenge

This week the challenge was to make a touchy feely card with different textures.

Here is my entry for this week's challenge.

I used Basic Grey Sugared paper, a glittery heart sticker that came in a box of goodies from my Mum's friend Karen at Charmed cards and Crafts, she made the circle sentiment too, I also used some funky foam flowers and a button. The image is Tilda with Magnolias coloured with watercolour pencils. She has been cut out and mounted on 3D foam for dimension.

It was fun making this card with all the different textures.

Good luck everybody taking part.

Crafty Monkeys Challenge time again

This is my entry for the latest challenge on Crafty Monkeys blog .

I really enjoyed using the sketch Didi selected and love my finished card. That always helps Mum says. Lol.

Papers are DCWV Prima flowers with Papermania gem brads. Buttons are Basic Grey ??? collection and the cirlce sentiment comes from my Mum's friend's blog, Crafty Goings On I love to look in her shop too. Soooo many nice things.

Practice card

This card used a sketch from Crafty Monkeys a couple of weeks ago. I used mainly cardstock for the backing. Flowers are from Imaginisce. It was the first time I have worled from a sketch, but I liked it. Enough to join in the challenge last time, and again this time. :)

My latest makes

I have been busy with the general school things that fill up a schoolgirl's life but have managed to make a few things. Here are some cards I made (with a bit of Mum's guidance, and her stash lol.)

This is the one I made for my Friend Katy for her birthday. Papers are Lily Kate from Basic Grey. Prima flowers and Papermania alphabet stickers.
